Due to rapid growth in construction of high rise multi storied buildings, technology changes , and availability of modern new sanitary fittings, and in high rise buildings proper & right type of water boosting fittings/systems and immediate replacement of defective parts is a must therefore, there is a great demand of trained plumbers for fitting & repair work , in market today also there is paucity of the trained plumbers in the country.

To cater this need NIOS has designed the Plumbing course, the course has been designed to provide knowledge and training in-: proper use of plumbing tools & their maintenance, pipe & fittings, pipe line laying, outlet connections to sewer lines e.t.c, thread cutting of joints, different connectors, fixing kitchen fittings, wash basins, sinks, geysers, RO e.t.c, fixing sanitary fittings, fixing water boosters, repair work of fittings , Entrepreneurship.

After successful completion of the course an individual have immense job opportunities like wage job as plumber in an organization for repair & maintenance work, work with plumbing contractors, job of sanitary fittings at buildings/construction sites and moreover She/he can work as an independent plumber.
